Welcome to ATLOP website (the “Site”) operated by AFNAM INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY. We, at ATLOP, strongly believe that an individual’s privacy & confidentiality is of utmost importance. We respect your privacy and want to protect your personal information. ATLOP wants to make ecommerce safe & better for merchants & end customers. Our privacy policy defines the ways in which we collect, store, use and protect your personal information as we process a large amount of information. This Privacy Policy also explains how we, under certain conditions, disclose your personal information and intends to help you understand the steps we have taken to secure your personal information. By visiting the Site directly or through another site, you accept the practices described in this Policy and you agree to the applicable Terms & Conditions of ATLOP Services. Data security & protection is a matter of trust and as mentioned earlier your privacy is important to us. We shall therefore only use your relevant information which relates to you in the manner set out in this Privacy Policy. We will only collect information where it is necessary for us to do so and we will only collect information if it is relevant to our dealings/business with you.

The Privacy Policy is a legally binding agreement between merchant/trader/partner, the end customer, and ATLOP. If any new features or tools are added to our Site & Services, this policy will hold true in that case too. We will keep your personal information accurate, complete and up-to-date as per the information you provided to us. If you request access to your personal information, we will notify you of the existence, use and disclosure of your personal information as permitted by law and provide you with access to that information. We will always request your consent before using your personal information for a purpose other than that described in our Privacy Policy.

Information from merchants/traders/partners 

You (“Merchant, Trader, Partner”), agree to post a privacy policy on your store page that complies with the laws applicable to your business and ATLOP because your customers need to understand how you (and how ATLOP) collects and processes their personal information. You also agree to have an agreement with your customers & obtain their consent for the use and access of their personal information by ATLOP and other third parties.

What information does ATLOP collect from partners/traders/merchants and what are the reasons behind collecting such information.

  • We collect your name, company name, address, email address, mobile/phone number(s) and payment details (for example, your credit card information).
    • ATLOP uses this information to provide you our Services like to verify your identity, contact you, provide you with relevant information relating to advertising and marketing, and issue you invoices. We also collect & use this information to make sure that we comply with legal requirements.
  • We collect data from the web pages hosted by ATLOP that you visit. We also collect data about how and when you access your account or ATLOP services, including information about your device, browser you use, your network connection and the IP Address.
    • We need this information to provide you our services and to make our Services more user friendly and swift. We also use this information to personalize the Services for you which may be of interest to you. Finally, we may use this information to provide you with relevant advertising or marketing material.
  • Once your Service Registration Process is completed, it authorizes you to activate the logistics and payment services in your account. You agree that we'll collect your address or addresses, your business type, business ID, date of birth (if you're the owner of an individual business), bank account information, and government identity information.
    • ATLOP needs this information to establish/create logistics and payment services for you, including fraud and risk monitoring & evasion and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • We collect and store personal information of your customers that you share with us or that are provided by the customers during shopping or during the payment process.
    • ATLOP uses this information to provide you with best of our services and for timely completion of orders which will surely help you in providing better services to your customers and enhance customer experience.
  • We may request you to provide us with some secret information like “Secret Question & its Answer” in addition to the government-issued identification information.
    • We will use this information to verify your identity in case of identity theft or to verify you when you call our support staff
  • We will also use personal information in other cases if you give us explicit permission
    • Address Book containing your customer’s numbers: You can provide us with your customers’ phone numbers and other contacts in your mobile phone book. You agree & confirm that you are authorized to provide us with these numbers to allow us to provide our services.
      • ATLOP uses this information to provide you with our services and to complete the requests and serve your customers better
    • By providing us with access to your camera and photo library, you confirm that you are authorized to provide us with such images to allow us to provide our services.
      • We use this information to provide you with our services so that you can add and manage products to your store with images & photos
    • By authorizing us to access your location using the location services in your mobile phone, you confirm that you are authorized to provide us with your location to allow us to provide our services.
      • We use this information to provide you with our services of sending and delivering orders to our partners and receiving returns.
  • ATLOP collects “Use and record information” like we collect information about services, diagnostics and performance, including information about your activity such as how to use our services and how to interact with others using our services, log files, diagnostics, malfunctions, websites, performance logs and reports.
    • We collect Device and contact information like device-specific information when installing, accessing, or using our services. This includes information such as device type, operating system information, browser information, IP address, and mobile network information, including phone number and hardware IDs. We collect device location information if you use our location features.

    When does ATLOP collect this information?

    ATLOP collects the aforementioned information explicitly in following scenarios:

    • When you register with us and sign up for our services
    • When you login to ATLOP platform to use/access our services
    • When you specifically provide us the personal information

    Information from End customers

    We have appropriate technical and security measures in place to prevent unauthorized or unlawful access to or accidental loss of or destruction or damage to your information. When we collect data through the Site, we collect your personal details on a secure server. We use firewalls on our servers. We follow industry standards in managing information security to protect sensitive information such as financial information and any other personal information entrusted to us. Our information security systems apply to people, processes and IT systems based on risk management. As per our security procedures, we may occasionally request proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you. Moreover, a qualified third party is engaged to manage the payment gateway who manages and checks our payment gates.  In all events, you are responsible for protecting against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Try not to save password and you must enter your username and password each time you want to access your account or make transactions on the Site. Choose your password carefully using unique numbers, letters and special characters and never share your username and password with anyone. If at any point of time you feel that your username or password has been compromised, please contact our customer support team immediately and ensure you change your password by logging onto the ATLOP Site as soon as possible.

    If you are a merchant/trader/partner using ATLOP Services, we do not use the personal information we collect from you or your customers, to independently contact or market to your customers. However, we may contact or market to your customers if we obtain their information from another source, such as from the customers themselves.

    It is important to note that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information when you use ATLOP Services.

    Protection of Personal information across borders

    ATLOP may transmit your personal information outside of the country or region, however, we are still responsible for personal information that is transferred/transmitted to any third party abroad/out of the region for processing to support our efforts to provide you with best in class services. Any personal information transmitted to a third party abroad for data processing is subject to the same level of protection as that of ATLOP’s level of data protection within the country.

    Your Right - Control over & Access to your personal information

    You (merchant/trader/partner or end customer) can retain your complete rights to your personal information and store content and you can access them at any time. In addition, ATLOP ensures to allow you to correct, modify, delete or limit the use/access of your personal information. Using your account settings you can update/modify many types of personal information which includes but not limited to payment information or contacts or phone number or address. If you are unable to change your personal information as a merchant/trader/partner from within your account settings, please contact us to make the requested changes. In case you are an end customer, then you need to contact the relevant merchant/trader/partner to request & allow him to update your information. It is important to remember that if you delete or restrict the use of your personal information, the services may not work properly.
